The N&WHS and your convention hosts invite you to our convention in Marion, Ohio. Marion is located in north central Ohio 40 miles north of Columbus on US 23. The city is located on the ex-Pennsylvania Railroad’s Columbus to Bellevue rail line, one of the two that were purchased by N&W in 1963 to connect to the Nickel Plate and the Wabash. Along with the Cincinnati to New Castle line, the lines made important connections to the new system and continue to be important as they connect the old N&W and the Southern in Cincinnati for NS today.
